CO2 is the powerhouse of the Cooler Keg. Think of it as your battery pack. If you want to use your Cooler Keg, you need two things: your beverage and your CO2.

One cartridge will usually run both kegs from full to empty, with a little left over for cleaning. Once empty, the cartridges are recyclable.
